World Music Contest 2005 - Part TWO
Ok i need to complete this before i really forget everything. This will be a short summary one. Just completed my common test on friday. I just hope that i pass everything. Sian mon going to have a make-up test for me. How to do the test(practical) man. I long time didnt touch the computer for almost 3 weeks. Haiz..
Ok Let me start on 18th July which was monday. We packed our things and so we went to Germany , Frankfurt by bus. After we got a gold , i must say some of us become mad. They were feeling very "high" including me? I think i was "high" at the few last days of the trip. First, along the way to Frankfurt, we went to visit Beethoven house at Bonn, Germany. It was the house where the beethoven was born and his parents lived. It was quite an experience to see how people in the past lived. However, the sad thing that we cant bring in cameras to shoot pics of the rooms in the house. Very strict sia. They really want to maintain that house for as long as possible. Ok soon we reach our hotel!!! in frankfurt. Our hotel was called INTERCITY HOTEL. It was near a train station. And so we explored the city. A mix of really old buildings and new ones. Quite a peaceful city.
On the next day, we went to a music instrument museum to see see. Got some very old instruments and very new, nice ones. Basically, it was like a music instrument shop. After that we explore explore more more area. I also went to the red-light district to see sia. First time of my life. I must say they are very open. In here we have World Of Sports but at there they have World Of Sex. Even their tv shocked me, they even have a channel after 12mm called erotic channel? Wah lau. My spectacles almost dropped down. Hahaha. Because we had found that "red" area, some of us become more "high". Like saying want to go there buy dvd anot to bring home see see. HAHahahahaha.
Next On 20th July, wednesday, we went to visit Frankfurt Cultural Area, Alt Opera House. Very nice and magnificent. Ya. everyone was on shoot photo craze. Shoot alot photos at there.
Finally on the last day, it was our free time. We went do some last min shopping and explore some of the area. I and a group of friends went to a nearby river. It was simply peaceful. Better than the Singapore River many many times. Peaceful and quiet. Ahhhhhh. Where can u find this in singapore? I saw some people was reading a book at a bench. No need to go library one. At around 10.25pm, we went to take our flight home, back to Singapore. We arrived at the Changi Airport around 4pm. Wooooo. i really miss home at that time. Cant wait to tell my experience to my fiends. There u are, here is my summary of the WMC trip 2005.
I would like to thx the quest players in the percussion group. Without u all, we would not make it.
What i learnt from the trip.
-Nyp is really supportive of the band. Thx NYP. U are the best.
-Changi Airport is really nice and beautiful. Really should deserve the Number one position.
-Singapore is a really clean and NEAT country.
-Singapore is a really HOT and WET country.
-SIA is really good too.
-2 weeks absent from sch can really kill u.
-Im not good at spending money. Really should have buy more things from there.
-Their cars are better looking than ours.
-Singapore REALLY need to have an place or area which is peaceful and quiet. Sometimes we really should relax.
-Germany (germ many) Get it? A joke from my friend.
I duno really should continue in the band anot. I really dunno. Make some new friendships from the trip. Really hope can continue those friendships. Thx NYP and Laoshi. U are the man!!! WMC trip 2005 - An unforgetable experience. :)
